Your tasks & responsibilities
  • Establish product specifications and technical direction.
  • Create a framework of technical standards and procedures.
  • Oversee software quality and system modifications.
  • Guide team members with troubleshooting technical issues.

As a tech lead, you’re responsible for setting the technical direction of our products and clearing technical hurdles, ensuring smooth operations and efficient problem-solving.

  • Work with a team of cargonerds and develop web applications in an agile environment
  • You will work on exciting products related to logistics: from quotation algorithms, to live tracking data, to customer reporting and many more
  • You connect external API’s, but also develop API’s for our different frontends
  • You also contribute your knowledge to the modeling of data models

Your skills
  • Solid experience in web application development – ideally you have knowledge of C# and .NET Core, Azure is a plus.
  • You understand web development as a craft and a process of constant learning
  • You have a keen interest in cloud development and clean code

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer at cargonerds, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our software solutions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with our development team to understand software requirements and infrastructure needs.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
  • Deploying, monitoring, and maintaining resources and applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
  • Utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to manage and provision resources.
  • Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our applications and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

Nice to have
  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Sentry).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).

Your skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is being preferred.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
